I have decided to try to revive my work on establishing more engaging discussions across blogs here @ JAX News.

For this purpose, I have revised the “Us & Them” page by adding the following guideline:

after publication (here @jax.news.blog ), the link to the original comment should be converted to plain text (in other words, not a live / functional link); if either the original comment or a new pingback link (to the new post @jax.news.blog ) are published, only then should the plain text link should be converted to a live / functional link (in order to create a transparent / functional discussion thread)

Hopefully this revision might motivate more bloggers to come out of the woodwork and to actually respond to comments and thereby improve discussion / communication across blogs. 🙂
